The clinic did a good job of reconfirming some things I already do, to help refine my ability to be assertive NOT agressive, to help my horse through her fear of other horses by being her leader and giving me a few new things to work on.
Uriah and I stayed the night with Bru
ce and Betty so it was a very enjoyable weekend.Trust me, I'll be cracking the Level 2 pack as soon as I get back from vacation. I feel like I have been doing a lot of the Level 1 stuff forever, since I did my first natural horsemanship clinic, but I like the Parelli stuff much better (and I am getting better results)-amazingly enough, I am moving forward. So I am SO looking forward to level 2.

Yeah! Congrats girl! I can not for the life of me get Maddy to jump the barrels. I have to work on that. Great photo:-)

Congradulations on passing your level 1 certification! I just stumbled across your blog today and I enjoyed reading many of your posts.
You seem to have a very humble, common sense approach to horses (and life around them). I feel that I am like that myself and enjoy meeting others with similar philosophies.
I also like Natural Horsemanship techniques and employ ideas from a lot of different trainers (Pat Parelli and Mark Rashid are favorites of mine).
