Horse Trainer's Insurance

So I am trying to get some insurance as I get into the training/lessons/judging game (wouldn't want to lose everything I have worked for because a stupid barn cat spooked a horse). The problem is, I don't understand the lingo, don't really know what I need and there isn't enough good information that I can find.

Does anyone have resources they can point me to? Once I get this stuff sorted out, I'll pass my information on to you as well.

I have a specific horse policy for my farm. Since I have so many horses the regular companied won't insure me. There's a form that I have to fill out every year that ask 40 zillion (or so it seems) questions. From that they figure out exactly what kind of coverage I need. The questions are easy enough. And the rate actually turned out to be less that my regular company charged me that wouldn't cover the horses.

Information Allen Financial Insurance Group - The Equestrian Group phone 602 992 1570 Hope this helps.

I did a bunch of research on this a few months ago, although focusing on "inbetween insurance," not for a professional, but something that would cover the leasors. Not all insurance is created equal. AK has less options than you do, as many don't cover us here, but will send my notes to you this week with best contacts and suggestions.

There are quite a few people weary of an insurance career because they think they have to be an aggressive sales person. Of course, sales is a necessary ingredient, however insurance is a service everyone needs. Besides, most positions do not require straight sales.
