Does your horse love her job?

On Thursday, someone had left out some poles in the arena set up in a 'L' shape. I was riding Santana so I decided to back him through them. He did AMAZING and I think trail obstacles may be something that he will love, not just do.

Does your horse LOVE his job? Imagine how much better you are when you love what you do. Heart and passion count tremendously for success often beating out discipline and practice. Below is a video that is a perfect example. This horse LOVES her job.

Find something that you and your horse LOVE to do, put some work into it and you too could impress the crowds maybe even be world class.

This is a video of The WEG2006 Freestyle Dressage Final per The WEG2006 Freestyle Dressage Final performance of ANDREAS HELGSTRAND on BLUE HORS MATINE (a 9 year old mare).

Wow. My favorite part is towards the end, watch her ears. I swear she is headbanging like she loves the music!

Do my horses love their job? I will let you know once they are employed. ;) I am pretty sure they love their current jobs of: lawn mower, pasture ornament and petting zoo animal.

Lovely dressage video. A question I have always wondered is... dressage horses frequently flip their tails around like they are having a spasm during the trial. Generally it is during the harder maneuvers. I know when my mare flips her tail like that it is because she is PISSED OFF, so what is the emotion being expressed for these horses?
